Yueyang of Hunan is becoming a new power in the rustic tile market of China, and local enterprises are raising higher requirements for product quality and environmental protection when investing in new production lines. On 29 June, Hunan T-center Group invested and launched a wide rustic tile production line with an overall length of over 500 metres, among which the kiln’s length is 320 metres. It has also made a large amount of investment in introducing environment-friendly equipment. Foshan 1C Ceramic has also set up a production base of a new brand of high-end rustic tile—“Junling” in Yueyang. Through joint efforts in R & D with machinery and equipment manufacturers, it has customized a specialized production line of competitive rustic tiles, which strictly controls the quality by means of small-scale production. Junling Ceramics have acquired China Compulsory Certification and Environment-Friendly Ceramic Certification.

　　Ceramic industry is one of the nine major industries that Hunan Province has attached the greatest importance. In addition, Yueyang enjoys the advantage of locating near Yangtze River and Dongting Lake; plus its profound traditional culture, it is likely to play an important role among Chinese production areas of rustic tiles.

　　6月29日，湖南天欣集团投资上马了一条全长500多米，窑长320米宽体仿古砖生产线，并投入大量资金引进环保设备。而佛山一臣陶瓷也在岳阳建立了高档仿古砖新品牌“君领”的生产基地，通过与机械设备商的共同研发，定制了一条专业精品仿古砖生产线，以小规模生产来严格控制品质。君领陶瓷已经拿到“中国强制性产品认证制度”和“环保陶瓷”认证。

　　陶瓷产业是湖南省重点建设的九大产业之一，而岳阳有着临近长江与洞庭湖的区位优势，加上深厚的传统文化积淀，有望在中国仿古砖产区中扮演重要的角色。
