  CTW:Congratulations! Mr.Well-born . We know that your sale net now mainly focuses on U.S., Canada, and Mexico before you co-operate with Xinhui. Does this joint-venture means that China will be the 4th biggest market of Dal Tile?

  陶城报:恭喜您,Wellborn先生。我们知道,在和兴辉公司合作之前,您公司目前的销售网络主要集中在美国,加拿大还有墨西哥,请问,这次的合资是否意味着中国将成为您第四大的市场?

  Chris Wellborn :I think China has more potential to be more than the 4th, it has the potential to be the No. 2 or No. 1, China is the biggest ceramic mar-ket in the world, I think there will be a great opportunity for us to develop the market with Sanfi.

  Chris Wellborn:我想中国拥有巨大潜能的潜力足以让它成为我们的第一或者第二大市场而非第四大市场。 因此,和兴辉的合作让我们有很大的机会去发展这个市场。

  CTW:As We know, Dal-tile is very famous for its achievement in branding building, the brand of Dal-tile and American Olean are very famous in the world. China now is the No. 1 coun-try in the exportation and production of building ceramics, however, China has a certain distance to go to catch up with Euro-US countries in the brand building, What’s your opinion on China’s ceram-ic industry in the brand building? under this combination between your company and Xinhui group, what’s your plan for the brand strategy? What’s its meaning?

  陶城报:据我们了解, Dal-tile 公司在品牌建设上是非常有名的,DAL-TILE 和AMERICAN OLEAN 在世界上都非常有名,中国现在是建筑陶瓷生产以及出口的第一大国,但是在品牌建设上和欧美还是有一定的距离,请问,在这方面您对中国的陶瓷行业有什么看法?在兴辉和您公司合作后,你们对品牌建设有什么计划或者策略?

  Chris Wellborn:I think that the china market is very large and still fragmented, we think it is an opportunity for the company such as sanfi working with a company such as Moharw tile to build tremendous business in China I think we can partner together to do that , we plan to use the very strong brand which Sanfi has already created , we also will use the dal-tile in China.

  Chris Wellborn:中国市场非常大而且呈现多元化, 对兴辉和MO-HARW公司的结盟,共同创造辉煌的商业成就提供了一个很好的机会。我认为我们的合作一定能够达成我们的目标。在品牌战略上,我们会继续沿用兴辉建立的强势品牌,同时也会使用dal-tile品牌。

  CTW:Under the background of anti-dumping suit by EU to China’s companies, is there influence on your co-operation?

  陶城报:在欧盟对中国陶瓷企业发起反倾销诉讼的背景下,对您和兴辉的合作是否有影响?

  Chris Wellborn:I would say I am not familiar with the details of the EU anti-dumping case. We don’t think it would affect our business plan in China and we support free market, I think China has the great opportunities for exports as well as imports.

  Chris Wellborn:我不得不说,我对反倾销这件事情不太了解。但我们不认为这会影响到我们在中国的发展计划。我们非常支持自由的市场经济, 我相信中国会在进出口市场上仍然具备强大的潜力的。
